New Regency Club to Open at Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, a Chicago Area Hotel
The Woodfield – Shaumburg area hotel will open the doors to the newly constructed Regency Club accommodations on January 9, 2012.
The Regency Club is located on the fifth floor and overlooks the outdoor courtyard. The private club is open daily from 6:30am-7:00pm and is accessible to upgraded Gold Passport members and guests staying in Regency Club rooms. Appealing to the needs of the business and leisure traveler was the priority when designing the lounge and the conveniences that are offered. During the business week, the amenities provided include a continental breakfast, light snacks and soft drinks and an honor bar. In addition, hors d'oeuvres are served Monday through Thursday. A personal concierge is present to assist with questions, recommendations and special requests. The business center, exclusive to the Club, offers essential tools and a work station, along with complimentary high speed internet access. When unwinding, there are two ample-sized flat screen TVs, stereo CD player, current magazine and newspaper publications, and board games.
Regency Club guest rooms are in close proximity to the lounge and feature additional upgrades, such as turndown service, bottled water, bath and shower amenities and satin hangers in the closets. The additional charge for Regency Club room accommodations and use of the private Regency Club is $25.00 in addition to the guest room rate.
The decision to create the lounge came earlier this year in order to increase the guest offerings and offer more options for those interested in more privacy.
