The Chicago Blues Festival Returns this June!

As the largest free blues festival in the world and the largest music festival in Chicago, the Chicago Blues Festival is making its return on June 6-9, 2013. Come see why Chicago is considered the “Blues Capital of the World” and don’t miss the summer concerts at Millennium Park and Grant Park in Chicago.

The three-day weekend event in Chicago will kick off on Thursday, June 6, 2013 in Millennium Park. The cant-miss performances include Shemekia Copeland and Quinn Sullivan. Then, the big events will move to Grant Park on Friday, June 7, 2013 for performances by Irma Thomas and Bobby Rush and his Blues Band.

The headlining shows for Saturday include Otis Clay, Uvee Hayes, The Bar-Kays, Eddie Floyd and Sir Mack Rice. To end the summer event in Chicago, James Cotoon, John Primer, Billy Branch, Eddy “The Chief” Clearwater and more will take the stage on Sunday, June 9, 2013.
